This condition is no joke.

That they are stuck within the darkness with no way out.

That they feel crushed by the sheer amount of emotional pain.

That it's not nice to think about dying.

That they feel angry and really disappointed because they're still finding themselves struggling with "basic stuff" when people around them are thriving and having the time of their life. (That somehow success comes to others way more easily.)

That not being able to have a regular, somewhat descent life is disheartening.

That they feel so discouraged by failing all the time that they have given up and withdrawn from life.

That they end up "just living" and resorting to addictive behavior to cope.

That running out of options makes them feel helpless, hopeless, and depressed and it affects their self-esteem.

That nothing escapes it. Everything is affected by it — and it's heavy.

That this is why they just can't take it any more.
